In my previous post, I did a high-end best lipsticks of 2015. Now, it’s time to give honourable mentions to the budget-friendly lippies!

I love drugstore makeup, my favourite brands include Wet n Wild, Revlon, Bourjois, Jordana and recently, Freedom Makeup. In this list, I would mention 6 lipsticks I’m most impressed with in 2015. These shades and finishes are influenced by this year’s beauty trends and celebrity muse. If you want to know the lipsticks I’ll continue to rock on 2016, scroll through. 🙂

1.REVLON Colorburst Matte Balm in 245 Audacious

This shade is the perfect orange for those who wants to try the orange lips. It’s matte, it gives you the minty feeling on your lips, and it lasts for hours. And it’s Revlon, you can be in the most secluded part of earth and still have a Revlon booth near you.

2. L’OREAL Colour Riche in R517 Raspberry Syrup

In 2015, marsala is said to be the colour of 2015. This product is my go-to marsala shade. It’s a bright mauve, cremesheen lipstick that looks great on the daytime and night parties. In 2015, I tried more L’oreal products and I must say, I’m loving them!

3. REVLON Matte Lipstick in 003 Mauve It Over

This is the best drugstore option for the Kylie Jenner lips. It’s a nude-brown, matte lipstick that leaves a beautiful stain after the drinks and the food. This is my ultimate your-lips-but-better shade of the year.

4. MAKEUP REVOLUTION Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer in Love Like This

This collection is by far the most long-lasting drugstore liquid lipstick I have tried this year. I love this colour as it is a nude-pink with sheen, looks perfect paired with intense eye makeup or just your daily simple makeup. It reminds me of best-selling Nars lipgloss’ Turkish Delight.

5. MAKEUP REVOLUTION Lipstick in Dream About Success

If you read my recent posts, you would have probably encountered my rave review and swatches on makeup Revolution lipsticks. This is one of my favourites. The colour is a unique, peach shade and complements my skin really well. It brightens the face and looks great with peach blush and simple flicks of eyeliner.

6. BOURJOIS Rouge Edition Velvet in 01

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet is very popular in Indonesia. It’s long-lasting and inexpensive. Every time I went to the makeup counter, they seem to be out of stock. This is the only one I got to buy, and I understand the hype. It feels buttery when you apply it and dries to this beautiful velvet. It doesn’t dry out your lips and stay for hours. Smudge-proof and even after you eat oily food, it doesn’t chip away and leave you with messy lips. It’s awesome!

Well I hope you enjoy this post!

I’m so looking forward to 2016 🙂

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great New Year’s Eve!

Cheers to good vibes XOXO
